Privacy
Effective August 29, 2026.
This notice describes the data used by the current Vance Circle community experience. It is written for members, not lawyers: only the data needed for membership and community features should be collected.
Data the site stores
- Your email address, display name, optional location, optional bio, optional profile image, password-derived verification data, and secure session record.
- Posts, comments, reactions, saved posts, follows, local-circle joins, event RSVPs, fan-level activity, and abuse reports you submit.
- Support receipts you choose to submit, including network, asset, amount, public transaction reference, optional note, and verification status.
- Operational records needed to keep member actions reliable and investigate misuse.
- If you enable browser push, a device-specific push endpoint and public encryption keys supplied by your browser. The site never receives the private key used by your device.
How it is used
- To sign you in by email and restore your profile and saved activity.
- To publish the community contributions you choose to share.
- To calculate fan levels, deliver in-site alerts, enforce rules, and respond to reports.
- To send encrypted browser notifications for replies, reactions, Circle activity, and event reminders only after you grant browser permission.
- To automatically or manually check a submitted support transaction against the public Solana or Ethereum ledger.
What is public
Your display name, community posts, comments, stickers, and visible fan badge may appear publicly. Solana transactions are public on-chain even when the site keeps your member-to-receipt connection private. Your email address, password-derived data, saved list, and report identity are not displayed in the public feed.
Security and choices
Passwords are not stored as plain text. Sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies. Do not reuse a password from another service. Browser push is optional, can be tested or disabled from the notice center, and its server subscription is removed when you sign out or delete your account. From My Circle you can export your account data, sign out, edit your profile, remove reactions or saves, leave local circles, and permanently delete or anonymize member-linked records. Limited moderation, fraud-prevention, and legal records may be retained when necessary.
Children and teenagers
This community is intended for people aged 18 or older. The site does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, and members aged 13–17 should not create an account or submit crypto support. If a parent or guardian believes a minor supplied personal data, contact the site owner so the account and data can be reviewed and removed.
Retention and processors
Active membership data is retained while an account is open. Session and rate-limit records expire or are cleaned as operationally needed; public contributions remain until removed, hidden, or anonymized. The site uses hosting, database, object-storage, email, analytics, Telegram, and blockchain-network providers only when their connection is enabled. Public blockchain records cannot be deleted by this site.
Website support and financial boundary
This is an independent fan community, not a campaign, political committee, government office, financial adviser, exchange, or charity. Optional crypto support pays only for website operations and is not a campaign contribution or payment to a politician. Transfers are normally irreversible, are not presented as tax-deductible, and remain subject to ordinary tax, sanctions, consumer, age, and local-law obligations.
